How To Roast Butternut Squash

During the Fall/Winter season pumpkin and sweet potatoes get all the shine and although we love them, butternut squash needs some love too. Here's our quick and easy roasting recipe to try.

INGREDIENTS
1-2 bags cubed butternut squash
Handful of 2 chopped garlic
Himalayan sea salt
Smoked Paprika  salt free spice blend                                                              Pumpkin + Cardamom  salt free spice blend        Garlic Pepper+Herb salt free spice blend
1/2 cup Garlic olive oil
Fresh sage leaves, crushed in hands to release their essence

PREP
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Line baking sheet with parchment paper if you want crispier edges (optional).
2. Place the cubed butternut squash pieces in a large bowl.
3. Drizzle with garlic oil and toss with hands to coat. Add all spices. Toss again with hands to make sure spices are on all of the butternut squash. Add sage leaves and garlic. And give one more quick hand toss
4. Arrange the squash in one layer and roast for 25 to 30 minutes, until the squash is tender, turning once with a metal spatula. The parchment will help with making the squash brown and makes for an amazing bite but are just as delicious if cooked without it.
