5 Minute Energy Drink - Green Apple Smoothie

Forever fav... Anyone that knows me personally can attest that I have lots of energy from the moment my feet hit the floor. However, I also arm myself with wellness enhancing goodness by pouring life into myself.

And being busy is not an excuse. It is simply a by product of our lifestyle. There is always a solution.

For me on busy days (that’s er’yday) this is one of my go-to jumpstart break-fasts.

Here's a 5 minute quick & delicious recipe for #iamlenskitchen Green Apple Smoothie energy drink.

Spirulina provides energy support and extra vitamins including B 12, protein, minerals and detoxification

I use a Nutribullet or Ninja. A regular blender works also. Place ingredients in the order below.
2 handfuls of kale and baby spinach or mixed salad greens
1 cored and sliced green apple
1 cored and sliced pear
1 1/2 cups coconut water
1 teaspoon Pumpkin + Cardamom spice blend
1 teaspoon Spirulina
Few ice cubes
Blend and enjoy🍏

(the shade of green of this will vary depending on how much or little of the spirulina used. I would suggest using no more than 1 teaspoon)

The truth is, you don’t have to be in the kitchen all day.
